Guides and commands

Getting Started

Azusa is a Discord bot. Everything happens with slash commands inside your server; this website is for browsing templates and managing settings. Type /help in any channel to see every command.

Inviting Azusa

Add Azusa to Discord and pick your server. You need the Manage Server permission there. Azusa asks for: View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files, Read Message History, Add Reactions, Use External Emojis, Manage Messages, Manage Roles, Manage Channels, Kick Members, Ban Members, Moderate Members, Connect and Speak.

After adding it, drag Azusa’s role above the roles it should manage (Server Settings → Roles). Discord only lets a bot manage roles below its own.

Initial Server Setup

Run /setup. Pick one of seven layouts (Basic, Community, Gaming, Trading, Creator, Education or Custom), check the preview, customize names, optional roles and features, then confirm. Azusa creates only missing items and never deletes channels or roles. Running /setup again opens the configuration dashboard.

Template Installation

Every shared template has a code like AZU-7K9M-P2QX. Install it in Discord with /setup-import code:AZU-7K9M-P2QX, or open the template here and choose Install with Azusa, pick a server, review the preview and confirm.

Template Publishing

Two ways: in Discord, /setup → Share Template publishes your installed setup; on the website, My Templates → Create opens the editor (categories, channels, roles, features, live preview). Publishing validates everything and issues a code. You can unpublish, regenerate the code or delete at any time; servers that installed it keep their channels and roles. Read the publishing rules.

Music Commands

/playPlay a song or playlist by name or link (YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify).
/pausePause the current song.
/resumeResume playback.
/skipSkip to the next song.
/previousPlay the previous song again.
/stopStop playback, clear the queue and leave.

/nowplayingShow the player for the current song.
/loopRepeat the song or the queue.

/seekJump to a time in the current song.
/volumeSet the volume (1–150).

Statistics Commands

Azusa records voice time, music listening and played tracks per server (no audio, no messages). Recording started on 1 Nov 2026, 02:11 WIB; there is no earlier history.

/stats userYour stats card, or another member’s.
/stats serverServer-wide activity card.
/stats leaderboardMost active members in voice and music.

Welcome and Goodbye

Configure with /welcome and /goodbye or in the dashboard. Placeholders: {user} {user_mention} {user_name} {server_name} {member_count} {rules_channel} {welcome_channel} (goodbye: {user_name} {server_name} {member_count}).

Moderation

/banBan a member.
/kickKick a member.
/timeoutTime out a member (up to 28 days).
/untimeoutRemove a member’s timeout.
/warnWarn a member and record it.
/warningsShow a member’s warnings.
/purgeDelete recent messages in a channel.

Each action is written to the audit log and, if set, the moderation log channel.

FAQ

Does installing a template delete anything?
No. Existing channels and roles are kept; matching names are reused.
Can a template give someone Administrator?
No. Template roles use fixed permission presets without Administrator, Manage Server or Manage Webhooks.
Is the code proof that I own a template?
No. It is only a lookup key. Ownership is your Discord account.
Why is my headphone icon crossed out?
Azusa deafens itself in voice so it never receives audio. Music still plays normally.
